El plan secreto de McCain para capturar a Bin Laden

Parece ser que el senador y candidato republicano a la Casa Blanca tendría un plan secreto para capturar al terrorista saudí Bin Laden, tal y como afirma en la mayoría de sus discursos.

“One thing I will not do is telegraph my punches. Osama bin Laden will be the last to know,” he said today while riding on the back of his bus between Florida events. In other words: he’s not telling. Why not share his strategy with the current occupant of the White House? “Because I have my own ideas and it would require implementation of certain policies and procedures that only as the president of the United States can be taken.”

Recordemos que el ex director de la CIA, Porter Goss, dijo en junio de 2005 tener una "excelente idea" de dónde está escondido el saudí, pero que no se le iba a capturar hasta que "los débiles vínculos en la guerra contra el terrorismo se hubieran fortalecido". Goss añadió también que gran parte de la dificultad en capturarlo radicaba en el "asilo [que este estaría recibiendo] en naciones soberanas".

¿Pakistán?

The top two U.S. intelligence officials made a secret visit to Pakistan in early January to seek permission from President Pervez Musharraf for greater involvement of American forces in trying to ferret out al-Qaida and other militant groups active in the tribal regions along the Afghanistan border, a senior U.S. official said.

Si efectivamente se trata de Pakistán, Bin Laden puede dormir tranquilo porque Musharraf ya rechazó iniciativas anteriores y ha vuelto a rechazar la entrada de marines en sus fronteras. Si los marines no van a poder pasar y él no está por la labor de salir...¿cuál es ese plan secreto, McCain?
